Senior Analyst, Finance – Portfolio Reporting & Business Insights

The successful candidate will transform leasing, occupancy, and development data into actionable analysis and reporting that supports executive decision-making. The work spans recurring executive and investor deliverables, ad hoc analysis on portfolio performance, and partnership with teams across the company to describe what’s happening in the business. Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare recurring dashboards and reporting packages for senior management and investors, including portfolio occupancy reporting, quarterly investor presentations, and ad hoc investor requests Analyze portfolio performance trends including occupancy, leasing activity, and tenant mix, and translate insights into reporting and presentations for senior management and investors, covering asset-level and portfolio-level performance metrics Provide analysis and summary outputs Lead the monthly rent roll variance review process to ensure data accuracy for executive and investor reporting, partnering with Lease Administration to investigate and resolve discrepancies Review and analyze lease transactions and related documentation for portfolio metrics Manage leasing and portfolio databases, ensuring data quality and consistency across reporting deliverables Partner with teams across the company to coordinate data flow and ensure accurate, timely reporting Perform diligent and detailed review of various reporting materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency across deliverables Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and the organization’s enterprise reporting software, Oracle EPM Cloud, in support of above efforts Opportunities for Growth Cross Functional Exposure: Partner with the Asset Planning & Analysis team on process improvement initiatives, gaining visibility into leasing and cash flow forecasting while building relationships with stakeholders across the broader organization Leadership Development: For candidates who demonstrate readiness, opportunity to help lead efficiency and accuracy-focused process improvement projects, developing project leadership experience beyond the core role Who is Likely to Thrive / Who May Struggle You will likely thrive if you: Are energized by a fast pace and multiple concurrent deadlines Pride yourself on thoughtful work product, while balancing accuracy and minimizing errors Can shift between recurring production work and ad hoc analysis without losing momentum Enjoy working with large data sets and translating into clear insights Are comfortable asking questions and pushing back when something doesn’t look right You may struggle if you: Always need a detailed or step-by-step task list to be productive Prefer working on one project at a time with long runways Are uncomfortable with shifting priorities or surprise requests Tend to wait for direction rather than proactively researching and solving problems Skills / Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field Exposure to corporate financial analysis, reporting or accounting with an understanding of real estate fundamentals required Familiarity with commercial leases and related financial terms required Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Competencies Required Attention to Detail: Produces accurate, error free, polished deliverables for management audience Productive: Manages high volume of recurring deliverables, and able to prioritize and ensure quality product Curiosity: Learns, applies new skills and continuously improves for own growth and success of the team Communicative: Demonstrates clear and proactive communication both verbally and in writing, flagging issues early rather than in review Collaborative: Builds strong working relationships across departments and embraces colleagues as collaborators Drive/Initiative: Takes ownership of work and continuously looks for ways to improve processes, solve problems, beyond basic task completion Organized: Navigates a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines Data Synthesizing: Efficiently coordinates the flow of data from multiple sources and aggregates into a combined reporting platform, while maintaining an understanding of the data “point of entry” and subsequent flow into multiple locations and reports Flexibility: Readily adapts to changing priorities Compensation : $92,000 - $120,000 per year + Performance Based Incentives + Comprehensive Benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
