Registered Nurse, 36 Hour (Day/Night rotation)

As an RN in the Cardiology/Telemetry Unit, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Position: Registered Nurse Department: Med Surg Schedule: 6 West Telemetry, 36 Hour (D/N) 12 Hour Shifts   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients   Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families   Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues   Update and manage patient records   Enter and interpret computerized data/information   Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCHS Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects   JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Certification in basic life support (BLS) required Advanced Cardiac Life support  ( ACLS) certification required 90 days of hire PCC Certification required within 1 year of hire EXPERIENCE: 1+ years of RN experience preferred  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Effective verbal and written communication skills   Physical ability to meet job responsibilities   Basic computer proficiency   Compensation Range: $39.80- $93.69 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
