We   are currently seeking a   Millwright   Journeyman   to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Bismarck, Missouri plant.    This plant produces granules   from raw material   for our   vertically integrated shingle manufacturing operation.   IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. Quality, integrity, and trustworthiness are the values that underline this success, and we have built this company by hiring people who hold these values.   Job Summary   The   Millwright Journeyman   is responsible for   installing,   maintaining ,   troubleshoot ing , monitor ing , adjust ing , and repair ing   manufacturing equipment and machinery throughout the   granule manufacturing   plant.   This role ensures the safe and reliable operation of plant machinery,   crushing and coloring equipment,   and conveying equipment   while   maintaining   compliance with safety and regulatory requirements . This role will rep ort   to the Maintenance Supervisor .   Job Responsibilities   Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment .   Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instruments .   Dismantling and   reassembling   equipment using hand and power tools .   Perform prevent at ive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.   Read ing   and interpret ing   mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.   Inspecting and assessing   the remaining   useful life of   wear components .   Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment .   Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols.   Utilizing   Maximo   computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) .   Ensure compliance with MSHA and company safety standards.   Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by   complying with   c ompany procedures , rules, and standards.   Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols.   Maintain  accurate  maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.   Collaborate with operators, production personnel, and maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues.   Qualifications   Proven experience working in and   maintaining   a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices   Minimum of five years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment   Experience welding, fabricating,   and installing mechanical equipment   Excellent working knowledge of   appropriate use   of hand tools and maintenance equipment   Strong knowledge of   mechanical lubrication,   coupling, alignment,   and   wear components   Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals   Must be able to learn computer-based maintenance software (Maximo knowledge is a plus)   Ability to work with minimal supervision   Ability to lead, guide, and mentor junior millwrights   Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills   Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential   Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities   Must be able to work in a team setting with   other   tradesman   Rotating   shift , holidays, and overtime may be  required .   Must wear  required  personal protective equipment (PPE).   Ability to  lift up  to 50 pounds.   Ability to work in industrial environments including exposure to dust, noise, heat, and moving equipment.   Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces as  required .   Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift   Safety and Compliance   The   Millwright   Journeyman   is expected to   comply with   all safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company procedures to ensure safe and compliant operations at all times .    The  Millwright Journeyman   must prioritize safety in all   tasks .    This is a   safety   sensitive position.   Benefits   of Employment   Competitive   Pay - Compensation: $41.00 per hour Health , Dental,   Vision   and Life   Insurance   Health Spending Account   Employee Support and Mental Wellness   Short-term and   L ong-term Disability   401k Match   Paid   V acation   Employee Assistance Program   Employee Engagement Events   Tuition Reimbursement   Employee Perks & Discounts   Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
