The Technology Team Lead, Web & Digital Solutions provides technical leadership and day-to-day guidance for a team supporting modern web applications built on the Next.js framework, including the Sitecore platform and other solutions like OneTrust for consent compliance. This role serves as a key liaison between the development team and management, helping drive technical excellence, team development, and successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership experience, serving as a mentor, technical advisor, and trusted partner to both team members and leadership. SKILLS Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership for enterprise web applications, cloud-native solutions, APIs, microservices, and digital platforms. Lead solution design discussions, architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Establish and promote development standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex application and platform issues. Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to support innovation and continuous improvement. Team Leadership & Mentoring Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to developers and technical team members. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to support employee development, engagement, and career growth. Assist team members in overcoming technical challenges and removing delivery obstacles. Partner with management to communicate team priorities, risks, resource needs, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment. Talent Acquisition & Development Participate in recruiting activities, technical interviews, candidate assessments, and hiring recommendations. Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for new team members. Help identify skill gaps and recommend training and development opportunities. Application Delivery & Platform Ownership Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise web applications and customer-facing digital experiences. Guide development of Azure-hosted applications, APIs, and microservices utilizing modern DevOps practices. Provide technical leadership for Sitecore content management, personalization, and Sitecore platform initiatives. Support governance, enhancement, and operational efforts for OneTrust privacy and consent management solutions. Collaborate with cross functional business and technology stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, web application development, or application architecture. Requires 3 years of experience leading projects including working cross functionally to successfully deliver key initiatives. Experience mentoring technical teams and providing day-to-day leadership within a software development environment. Experience developing enterprise applications using modern web frameworks such as Next.js, Svelte, Vue, or other similar technologies. Experience developing and supporting solutions within Microsoft Azure. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application architectures. Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, and engineering best practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), XM Cloud, Sitecore DXP, or related CMS platforms. Experience utilizing Sitecore XM Cloud capabilities for content management, personalization, recommendations, and digital experience optimization. Experience supporting OneTrust Privacy Management, Consent Management, Cookie Compliance, or Data Governance solutions. Experience with Vercel hosting services, among other capabilities within the platform. Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure API Management (APIM). Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, SAML, and modern authentication technologies. Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
