Location 680 Lake Shore Drive Job Description Supports AI Literacy needs of departments across the organization through design, production, maintenance and distribution of AI Literacy related instructional materials. Defines and maintains standards for training deliverables for the entire AI Literacy program. Essential Job Functions: •    Develops templates and style guidelines for lesson plans, learner guides, tip sheets, posters, diagrams and other all instructional aids used within the Data Literacy training program (hereafter referred to as “training deliverables”). •    Ensures all existing Data Literacy training deliverables adhere to template and style guidelines.  •    Ensures all new Data Literacy training deliverables adhere to template and style guidelines. •    Maintains a well-organized, central repository of all Data Literacy training deliverables. •    Responds to ad-hoc requests for Data Literacy training deliverable development. •    Incorporates adult learning principles and instructional design best practices into training deliverable development. •    Advances the state of the art of the Data Literacy instructional design process.  •    Serves as an Data Literacy instructor backup if lead instructor cannot provide instruction.  Co-teaches classes when large audiences require additional support. •    Contributes to development and maintenance of e-learning scripts and lessons for Data Literacy topics as needed. •    Coordinates activities of assigned projects or particular phases of a given project. Develops and creates detailed work plans, timelines and other appropriate documentation, identifies appropriate resources needed and provides timely status reports. •     Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: •    Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field.  A combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experiences are directly related to the duties of the job. •    Minimum of 3 years of related experience required. •    Experience in building content for analytics including data catalogs, Power BI and visualization preferred •    Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint required.  •    Experience with page layout software (such as MS Pagemaker, MS Publisher, etc.) preferred. •    Demonstrated knowledge of adult education techniques and instructional design best practices required. •    Previous experience working with e-learning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Flash, Flex or Articulate Presenter preferred. •    Previous experience working with learning management systems preferred. •    Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate facts and ideas clearly and concisely.  •    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.  •    Strong project management skills. Ability to prepare documentation to support established objectives consistent with generally recognized standards.  •    Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee/patient and hospital.  Education Bachelor's Degree Pay Range $76,960.00-$125,840.00 Salary At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
