Desktop Systems Technician I

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 30 - Responsible for several aspects of hardware and software support across the PC environment. Oversee a ticket queue for submitted problems and requests. Provide customer service and technical support to staff. Collaborate and work solo on various projects and initiatives within the IT environment. Assist in tracking and maintaining of IT solutions database. Education/Training: Associates degree in related field of study Work experience of up to 2 years may be substituted in lieu of education Licenses/Certification: A+ Certification preferred, additional certifications (Microsoft in particular) are a plus Required Qualifications and Skills: Foundational understanding of Windows operating systems and applications Excellent teamwork and communication skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Experience working in a healthcare and/or customer service setting Experience working within the M365 environment - products and apps, Entra, Intune, etc. Essential Job Functions: Technical support and customer service to hospital staff Hardware and software deployment and maintenance Maintain ticket queue and support documentation Assist with IT projects and initiatives Other duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
