CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR

Department: Public Works Grade: 190 Salary: $25.11/hour Job Duties: R esponsible for conducting field inspections of projects including, roadway construction and reconstruction, bridges, culverts, and road maintenance; assisting with technical design work in support of construction projects . Coordinates the testing of various road construction materials to ensure construction and quality control standards are met. Responsible for inspections, documentations, and inventory of bridges and structures according to Federal guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Four years of experience in road construction and quality control inspection, drafting and plan specification design, project management or the combined experience. Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
