As a SharkByte Applied AI & Analytics Intern, you’ll be at the center of SharkNinja’s company-wide AI transformation, working on high-impact, cross-functional business problems that drive measurable impact across the organization. From day one, interns are embedded into real SharkNinja initiatives with ownership, visibility, and direct collaboration alongside technical and business leaders. You’ll partner closely with teams across the company to use AI and analytics to turn data into insights that inform decision-making and help shape real business outcomes. This experience sits at the intersection of SharkNinja’s Jailbreak AI initiative, a company-wide movement backed by $1M in innovation awards, giving interns exposure to real AI deployments, not sandbox exercises. Participants also gain access to the same AI tools and environments used across the company, including Claude Enterprise and a personal AWS sandbox, allowing them to build, test, and experiment without friction. The program is built for students with experience in software engineering, AI/ML, full-stack development, automation, or data analytics who are ready to apply their skills in a fast-paced business environment from day one. Interns also participate in Early Edge programming focused on mentorship, networking, and professional development, while gaining exposure to executives, AI founders, and company-wide innovation events. Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:   Support the scoping and analysis of business questions by gathering and organizing relevant data Write AI prompts and assist in data cleaning and preparation Design and iterate on AI prompts to extract actionable insights from business data Help build dashboards, reports, or simple models used by internal teams through the use of AI tools Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights within datasets through AI Use AI tools to improve efficiency and support analytical workflows Contribute to agentic workflow prototypes that automate manual, high-friction business processes Contribute to materials that communicate findings to stakeholders Help identify data gaps or inconsistencies and flag opportunities for improvement   Our ideal builders will  have the  following attributes & skills: Education: Current student in a related bachelor's or master’s or PhD program or has graduated from such a program within the past year Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in either Miami, FL or Needham, MA Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) Experience actively building with AI tools (LLMs, automation workflows, or agent frameworks), not just using them Experience working with real-world or messy datasets Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools through coursework or projects Ability to approach problems in a structured and logical way Interest in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce Embodies SharkNinja's Success Drivers: Rarely Satisfied – Adopt a 'no delays' mentality in delivering against market needs/timing Progress over Perfection – Make quick, daily progress and continuously adapt to achieve results rather than requiring perfect planning Details Make the Difference – Brings rigor to data preparation, model assumptions, and analytical outputs; understands that the quality of an AI output is only as good as the quality of the input Winning is a Team Sport – Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships Communicate for Impact – Strong communication skills; ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of management   This evergreen job post is for upcoming Applied AI
