You will serve as a member of the Global Confirmations and Settlements team, helping maintain a strong control environment while supporting accurate and timely trade matching, confirmation, and settlement.  You will partner closely with internal teams, custodian banks, broker-dealers, and other external counterparties. In this role, you will build knowledge of fixed income products, international markets, global depositories, settlement practices, and the operational risks and controls that support the business.  This position is based in our office in Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure ( 3 days in office) where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. What you can expect Provide daily operational and technical support for Global Confirmations and Settlements activity. Facilitate trade flow by ensuring transactions are matched on industry confirmation platforms, confirmed in internal trade systems, and settled in the market. Monitor daily trade-status reporting, including prematching, settlement exceptions, and failed trades. Research and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement fails, and claims in partnership with internal teams, custodians, and counterparties. Serve as a key liaison between the operations team and external custodian banks, broker-dealers, and other market participants. Support settlement activity across U.S. and international depositories, including DTCC, the Federal Reserve, Euroclear, Clearstream, and local market infrastructures. Identify and escalate issues that may affect the operational support of global and emerging-market products, and take timely action to reduce risk. Analyze activity and key operational metrics to identify trends, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and operating guidelines. Support local projects, system enhancements, and process-improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve efficiency. Provide timely resolution of operational issues raised by critical business partners and communicate status clearly through closure. Build effective internal and external relationships to help ensure appropriate service levels for supported funds and portfolios. Stay current on industry initiatives, market developments, and settlement trends that may affect the operating model or create opportunities for improvement undefined What you will bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 1 to 3 years of experience in middle-office operations, trade support, or financial-services operations preferred.  Experience with trade confirmations and settlements strongly preferred. Working knowledge of global markets and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; experience developing macros is a plus.  Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify root causes and drive issues to resolution.  Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.  Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to balance daily production responsibilities with project and process-improvement work.  Understanding of operational risk, business controls, and the importance of accurate and timely processing.  Learning agility and an interest in developing knowledge across a broad range of fixed income products, markets, and operating processes.    What will set you apart? ·         Familiarity with DTCC CTM, SWIFT, Bloomberg, or comparable trade-matching, messaging, and market-data platforms. ·         Experience supporting international settlements through DTCC, the Federal Reserve, Euroclear, Clearstream, or local-market depositories. ·         Exposure to emerging markets, global fixed income products, settlement-fail management, claims processing, or operational metrics and reporting. ·         Experience contributing to automation, system enhancements, or control-focused process improvements.  *PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from 65,000 to $75,000.
