Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurse

Responsibilities Serves as a clinical resource and consultant to the nursing staff in the care of patients with ostomies, fistula tubes, dermal wounds, incontinence and other disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems. Assists in staff development, staff education, and patient education related to care. Qualifications REQUIRED BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Two (2) years of related clinical nursing experience. Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) from a Northside approved resuscitation           certifying body.  Board certification in Wound and Ostomy care. PREFERRED Continence Certification preferred. Knowledge of WOC Nursing program development and teaching experience. Work Hours: 8-4:30PM Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No
