Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Weekend Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors. This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily administrative operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Monitor facility entry and visitor sign-in procedures
Provide general information and assistance to guests and residents
Assist with clerical tasks including filing, copying, data entry, and document distribution
Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and department leaders
Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Support administrative and office functions as assigned
Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
