Job Title: Warehouse Manager Reports To: Assistant Manager – US Operations Location: Billings, MT Position Summary: Western Builders Supply was organized in 1945 as a buying organization by a group of independent lumber yard owners. We sell a wide variety of products, but our focus is specialty construction screws and bits. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager with previous experience to motivate employees and keep a steady flow of productivity. This position will ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising employees and working to meet or exceed operational goals. Position is Salaried-Exempt Base schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30-5:00 Weekend shifts and additional hours as needed Key Responsibilities: Maintain safety standards and adapt training as needed Hiring, developing, and counseling of employees Ensure equipment maintenance stays on schedule Guide 3PL partners in packaging, shipping, logistics Create standard work for various roles throughout warehouse Open/Close warehouse at the beginning/end of shift Learn, implement, and utilize 5S and LEAN systems as part of daily management Lead by example Oversee inventory cycle counts and adjustments Investigate customer variance claims Prioritize workload and ensure employees are cross trained for flexibility Perform additional duties- (ie. pulling orders, stocking shelves, re-packaging product).
