With over 9,000 acres in California’s Central Valley, POM Wonderful is committed to unleashing the antioxidant power of our handpicked pomegranates.  JOB SUMMARY: As a key member of plant operations, the Shipping and Conveyance manager is responsible for managing all flow and storage of materials across the plant. The Shipping and Conveyance manager works closely with production to ensure the right quantity of material is in the right place at the right time to maximize output and consumer shipments. The manager will work to continuously improve processes across conveyance, shipping and inventory to improve throughput and reduce cost. This position provides an opportunity for an established supply chain leader to join a growing and dynamic company to help it achieve its goals. Base Compensation: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 w/ 10% Bonus Potential Leadership Manage plant shipping, conveyance and inventory team to ensure efficient and effective material flow and storage across the plant and on-time, in-full outbound shipments to customers Work with plant managers and customer service / sales to ensure the right material is in the right place at the right time Develop and implement written policies and procedures for daily operations Continuously evaluate and improve systems and processes to drive increased performance and efficiency of the functions Prepare annual budgets and provide regular updates on performance against budget Hire, train, provide performance feedback, and take appropriate disciplinary action for team members when required  Ensure that food and plant safety is maintained at all times and foster a safety culture, including participating in regular food and plant safety audits (if required) Shipping Ensure inbound/outbound product gets on the right truck, at the right time, in the right quantity, headed to the right destination, with all of the proper documentation.
