What You’ll Do Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations Support the Project Manager and project team members Prepare real estate documents Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving We’re Looking for Someone Who Works efficiently under tight deadlines and keeps multiple priorities moving Is organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Communicates clearly and professionally — in writing, on the phone, and face to face Brings a strong service mindset to every landowner and client interaction Picks up new systems and software quickly Is eager to learn and grow in the right of way profession Minimum Requirements Active Texas Real Estate Commission License Active Texas Notary OR the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire Proficient with MS Office Suite — specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems Valid driver’s license Where You Fit This posting covers Utilities Agent levels 1–3, and the pay range shown reflects the full span across all three levels — not the range for any single level.  During the hiring process, every candidate is assessed and evaluated to determine their Agent level. Leveling is based on a number of factors — including years of experience, demonstrated skills, the complexity and scope of work you've owned, overall career depth, and what you demonstrate throughout the interview process.  Your offer, including compensation, will align with the level that best matches your experience: Utilities Agent 1 — $64,374 – $76,889 | Minimum of 1 year Right of Way acquisition experience Utilities Agent 2 — $73,344 – $87,567 | Minimum of 3 years Right of Way acquisition experience Utilities Agent 3 — $85,220 – $101,702 | Minimum of 5 years of Right of Way acquisition Relocation and per diem are not provided.
