Transportation Planning Intern

Overview Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Reston, Virginia (VA) office on the Transportation team! This is not a remote position.  Responsibilities Solve complex problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to help bring our clients’ visions for the future built environment to life. Assist with a variety of transportation planning efforts, including Safety Action Plans, campus masterplans, parking and curbside management programs, and mobility planning. Support project analysis and deliverables using GIS, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Analyze data and information to help identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and support project recommendations. Participate in public, client, and project team meetings, using strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate technical information and gain exposure to both the technical and client-facing sides of transportation planning. Qualifications In the process of receiving a Planning Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in of the following majors:   City and Regional Planning  Urban Planning Transportation Planning   Or Other Related Major Hourly Range: $30/hr - $31/hr Why Kimley-Horn?
