What You Will Contribute As a Total Rewards Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the programs that help attract, retain, and engage our employees. You will partner across Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure our benefits, leave programs, and Total Rewards offerings are administered effectively and provide an exceptional employee experience. This role offers broad exposure to benefits administration, leave management, HR technology, employee communications, reporting and analytics, vendor management, and process improvement. It is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to deepen their expertise in Total Rewards while gaining experience with leading HR technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.  You will serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating important life and career events, helping them understand and maximize the value of the programs and resources available to them. What You'll Do Benefits & Total Rewards Administration Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions related to health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and other Total Rewards offerings. Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, life event changes, terminations, and annual Open Enrollment activities. Partner with vendors, payroll, and HR teams to resolve benefit-related issues and ensure accurate and timely administration. Support employee communications, educational materials, presentations, and outreach efforts that help employees understand and maximize their benefits. Participate in benefit audits, reconciliations, invoice processing, and vendor reporting activities. Support ongoing enhancement of Badger Meter's Total Rewards programs and employee value proposition. Leave of Absence & Employee Support Coordinate administration of leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, disability programs, and related processes. Act as a liaison between employees, managers, HR, payroll, and third-party administrators. Guide employees through leave and accommodation processes with empathy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Ensure accurate documentation, communication, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Support employees during significant life events by providing guidance and connecting them with available resources. HR Technology, Analytics & Reporting Maintain benefit and leave-related information within Workday and associated HR systems. Monitor system integrations and partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy. Generate recurring and ad hoc reports that support decision-making, compliance requirements, and program effectiveness. Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve employee participation, operational efficiency, and service delivery. Participate in system testing, upgrades, and implementation projects related to Total Rewards programs. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate manual work, and improve the employee experience. Leverage technology solutions including Workday, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Excel, and other tools to drive efficiency. Document procedures and support process standardization efforts. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Employee Experience.
