Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Tomahawk team for Recert supporting a large, high visibility, fast-paced development program. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. The MPM is the single point of contact interfacing with the Program Office and internal customers, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.  The MPM oversees all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements and ensures a strong link between various Supply Chain functions including Purchasing/Sub-Contracts, Logistics and Production Control. What You Will Do:  Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs) Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensuring a link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Monitor performance metrics and address program and functional issues Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance Ability to travel up to 20% Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. Experience managing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics, and/or contract compliance The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
