Timothy T. Day Business Enterprise Center – BEC Director

Job Summary: Responsible for all operations of the Timothy T. Day Business Enterprise Center including SWOSU personnel and student interns, managing events both internal and external for the facility and serving as an outreach arm of the University to the Business Communities in Western Oklahoma. Description of Job Duties: Take the lead role in Business Development activities for SWOSU. Assist regional businesses in financial, marketing, efficiency programs and start-up. Represent the BEC on SWOSU Administrative Council. Serve as VP of loan production for SWIFT. Prepare financial analysis and credit memos for presentation to SWIFT Board. Manage loan portfolio for SWIFT. Promote a positive image of SWOSU through participation in community and professional organizations, representing SWOSU at professional meetings and on community committees, and establishing and maintaining credible relations with local community and financial institutions. Notify Human Resources of any potentially dangerous equipment, practices, or violations of safety procedures. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at any time at the sole discretion of the University, formally or informally, either orally or in writing. Additional Responsibilities: Bloodborne Pathogens training will be completed within 10 days of assuming the position. Hazardous Communication and Preventing Sexual Harassment training will be completed within 30 days of assuming the position. Promote personal safety, safety procedures and a safe work environment. Available to assist with emergency situations during or after working hours whether in-person, by phone or email contact. Must be willing and able to perform job related travel. Must maintain a current and valid driver license. Assist in emergency situations as called upon. Terms of Employment: Employment at will. Full-time, exempt position. Salary to be established by SWOSU’s salary schedule.
