This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because: The Assistant Designer will work under the direction of the Sr. Designer in the creative process, development and maintenance of Footwear designs from concept through production. The individual in this role should have studied or have some experience in Design, with an interest in Footwear. They must be highly organized, detail oriented and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be passionate and creative and possess an elevated aesthetic and eye for detail to match the Tory Burch brand. A Day in the Life: Help build seasonal design boards and keep them up to date Update sketches and boards as the development progresses Collect, track and ensure all information is compiled and easily accessible related to each style Assist building tech packs Create and execute CADs using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Take notes in design/sketch meetings and capture all updates to designs Prep samples and protos for review Compile trend research and organize/upkeep vintage and inspiration archive To Land This Role: Associates of Arts or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent field Internship experience with a luxury retailer High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Strong hand and Illustrator sketching skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Demonstrate resourcefulness and apply creative thinking to issues Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, ability to work on multiple product seasons at one time Must provide digital portfolio of work The compensation range   for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
