Responsibilities The Mobile Engineering Enablement Team (MEET) is a horizontal engineering team at State Farm whose mission is to empower product teams by providing a seamless, secure, and efficient platform for mobile application development, testing, and deployment. We own the foundational infrastructure, vendor relationships, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, quality practices, and AI-enabled engineering platforms that all mobile app product teams rely on every day. MEET spans a broad set of engineering disciplines — DevOps, platform engineering, iOS/Android CI/CD, QA, SRE, cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP), vendor management, and developer experience. Our products range from customer-facing critical infrastructure to internal self-service tooling to AI-powered developer productivity platforms. No two days are the same. We are looking for a Technology Analyst to join the MEET team. This role is a true horizontal contributor — you will own vendor administration, risk and compliance, platform governance, release operations, enterprise product registration, Technical Recovery Plans, and broad support for a wide portfolio of products and services spanning mobile, cloud, AI, and developer tooling. This is not a purely technical role — nor is it purely administrative. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, the ability to manage many concurrent workstreams across highly varied technology domains, vendor and stakeholder management experience, and enough technical curiosity and depth to support engineers and platform teams working across iOS, Android, AWS, GCP, CI/CD, APIs, databases, and AI integrations. The role requires independent judgment, resilience under ambiguity, and a genuine interest in understanding how the systems you support actually work. Qualifications iOS & Android Platform Administration Serve as an administrator for the Apple Developer Accounts — developer provisioning, device management and rotation, certificate lifecycle (Distribution, Push, Pay, Wallet), App Store Connect administration, TestFlight management, and periodic account cleanup Administer Google Play Console — user access, track management, release notes, store listing governance, and use case documentation Manage Firebase across its full suite: App Distribution, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Remote Config/A/B Testing, access governance, and approval workflows Monitor and understand the end-to-end iOS and Android release lifecycle — from CI/CD pipelines through TestFlight/Firebase App Distribution to App Store and Play Store — well enough to triage issues, support engineers, and own operational tasks Maintain awareness of Apple and Google platform policy changes, certificate expirations, SDK deprecations, terms and conditions updates, and developer account compliance requirements; communicate impacts to the team proactively Risk, Legal, Compliance & Governance Own and drive enterprise application registration for new products and services across the team's portfolio Author, maintain, and coordinate technical recovery plans or team-owned products and services Lead risk work efforts end-to-end — intake, documentation, threat model support, mitigation coordination, stakeholder engagement with Risk and Legal, and driving work to closure Produce and maintain platform governance artifacts including use case documentation, privacy data flow documentation, and security review preparation materials Coordinate recurring vendor risk assessments, renewals, and compliance questionnaires (including post-quantum cryptography declarations and similar enterprise-wide compliance programs) across the vendor portfolio Serve as a liaison to Legal, Purchasing, Architecture Review, and Risk on new vendor onboarding, existing vendor renewals, and product approvals Vendor Administration & Renewals Administer Gemini for Android Studio — monitor acceptance and compliance forms, communicate legal requirements to the engineering community Administer and coordinate renewals for third-party tooling that is part of the mobile app toolchain Support onboarding of new vendors through technical, legal, risk, and purchasing coordination Product Support — Internal & External Provide operational support for MEET-owned products spanning UI, API, database, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and GCP — enough to triage issues, engage the right engineers, and keep internal and external users unblocked Support critical customer-facing deployments (including mobile app runtime configuration infrastructure) that are essential to the launch lifecycle of the State Farm mobile app — understanding urgency, escalation paths, and recovery procedures Serve as a knowledgeable resource for mobile product teams needing guidance on MEET-owned platforms (Firebase, App Store Connect, Play Console, etc.) Work Effort Leadership Lead assigned work efforts end-to-end with stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, risk identification, and communicatio
