The Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security advises DOE Senior Leadership on all matters related to environment, health, safety and security across the complex. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Cost Reimbursement (Technical Guidance Analyst) in the Energy, Resources, And Industrials Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as The Department of Energy ( DOE | OC - EHSS) | Office of Classification (OC) | Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) Located In Washington, DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Technical Guidance Analyst Assist in the development and revision of classification guidance, working closely with federal staff. Perform technical reviews and evaluations of DOE classification guidance. Prepare and submit new DOE HQ classification guidance for approval. Use specialized software (XML editors, SharePoint) to manage and format classification documents. Interface with DOE classification staff and other subject-matter experts to support technical guidance development. Maintain the accuracy of the GDTS system and manage the distribution of classification guides and bulletins. Provide technical analysis of classification policy revisions and updates. Desired Qualifications For Technical Guidance Analyst | Classification and Control Guidance Development, Revisions, and Review ( EHSS0009013 ) Candidates: Knowledge of DOE classification policies and guidelines. Familiarity with classified networks (C-NET, NNSA ESN) and document handling protocols. Experience in technical document management and guidance systems. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Administration, Information Systems). 5+ years of experience in classification guidance or technical support roles within government agencies.
