As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a global team that will create high-quality products that meet rigid safety and airworthiness standards for flight. What You Will Do:         Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements   Develop innovative design approaches that meet customer requirements, cost targets, and product line objectives. Design requirements, software, and test verification, depending on program need. Support teams of software and systems engineers to develop, integrate and release displays software products. Interact with a cross-functional team of (including, but not limited to) Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Finance, Quality, and Production Willingness to travel (domestic and international What You Will Learn: You will learn the technologies of today and tomorrow which we count on to maintain world leadership in the avionics industry. You will learn all phases of the software product life cycle from requirements to verification, while employing the company software engineering processes to produce high-quality products. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Experience in a systems/software engineering role. Experience developing, decomposing, and deriving requirements. Experience with Python scripting. Qualifications We Prefer: Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
