Job Details Kettering Health Washington Township | Centerville | Full-Time | 10 Hour Shift Days Responsibilities & Requirements The Surgical Tech supports patient care and safety by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures. This role ensures operational reliability by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (certificate or associate degree) or equivalent education as recognized by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).No prior experience required; clinical experience obtained through surgical technology program is acceptable.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in surgical technology or related field. One year of experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care or hospital setting. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Orthopedic experience preferred
