City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital located in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring a Patient Access Supervisor  - Full Time Days The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient and accurate registration, financial clearance, and front-end revenue cycle functions. This role provides leadership, support, and mentorship to staff while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor, Patient Access plays a key role in process improvement, staff development, and enhancing the patient experience. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification/Licensure One of the following required: CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate)    CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative)   CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager)   CPC (Certified Professional Coder)   Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)   Certified Medical Services Management (CPMSM)   Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)   Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)  Experience Relevant experience in Patient Access/Registration, Billing/Patient Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management and/or Customer Service - 3 years (Required) Talroo - Leadership, supervisor, admitting, registration, coordinator We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $58,676.80 - $88,233.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
