Student Worker - Technical Theater

Job Summary Assist the Technical Theatre Arts Director for Theatre Arts productions, college events, community events, and general facilities and equipment maintenance/organization. All work is done under the regular guidance, direction, and supervision of theatre arts faculty. Principal Accountabilities Executes designs for scenery, lighting, sound, costumes, and properties for Blinn College Theatre productions as directed Organize teams of peers in order to accomplish tasks as outlined above Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the technical areas, including the scene shop, costume shop, lighting/sound workrooms, storage, and backstage areas. Provide technical support for Blinn College sponsored events in the Performing Arts Center including Theatre Arts, Music, Student Life, Alumni, Community, and other events as assigned. Complete office duties as assigned Complete other related duties as assigned.
