Student: Athletic Facilities Events Assistant 2026-27

Job Responsibilities: Set up equipment before athletic events Tear down and clean up after events Keep score or run the game clock Take tickets at the door Assist with in-game operations (ball chasing for soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball) Work Hours 4-5 hours per event Typically Monday - Friday evenings Saturday - Sunday day and evening Students can expect 10-18 hours per week, dependent on their availability Compensation and Benefits Rate of Pay: $16.45/hour Minnesota Sick and Safe Time Not eligible for health insurance benefits MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligible Ability to lift 25+ pounds Willingness to follow detailed instructions Reliable and able to work independently Interest in athletics is a plus, but not required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in G Suite software services (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) Interest and/or understanding of athletics operations On-campus resident All student applicants must attach the following for consideration:  Resume Cover Letter (optional) Augsburg University is an Equal Opportunity employer.  We are committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees regardless of their race, creed, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, military service, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
