Strategic Account Manager

Overview Cummings Electrical is hiring a Senior Networking Account Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Currently seeking a Senior Networking Account Manager  to lead a team of service electricians. The SAM will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning, to ensure that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity. Responsibilities Minimum 5 years or more of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry, with a focus on networking, low-voltage, or structured cabling systems Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred, or previous experience as a Licensed Electrician/Supervisor. Experience with Network Infrastructure, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, Copper Cabling, Data/Telecom Systems, and associated electrical systems; a MUST Experience managing the installation, testing, and commissioning of network and low-voltage systems for large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects is a plus Customer Service Driven with the ability to work closely with clients, general contractors, vendors, and project teams Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) Solid Communicator – excellent oral and written communication skills Monitor the performance and progress of field staff, motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork to ensure project schedules, quality standards, and productivity targets are met Qualifications Knowledge and application of relevant safety requirements that apply to the specific work being done. Recognizes and mitigates safety hazards on the job.
