Your duties are designed to provide leadership for Material Handlers in support of Warehouse operations to ensure departmental goals are met. Your challenges: Daily Activities:  50% Continuous follow up and monitoring of progress and adjust accordingly. Support CSR’s and buyers as needed Monitor Andon and Streamflex tools Receiving, stocking, picking, packing  Problem solving and support of Material Handlers Monitor transit locations and resolve issues as required Foreign Trade Zone Compliance  Safety compliance  Interdepartmental Coordination:  50% Support CSR’s and buyers as needed Problem solving and support of Material Handlers Coordinate with Import and Export teams to ensure FTZ compliance Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure critical functions are staffed properly  Cross-train departmental staff to ensure coverage is available when needed Additional Responsibilities:  Education: Required High School Diploma or equivalent   Preferred None Experience: Required Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a warehousing, distribution, inventory control or related function.  Preferred Some experience in leading and managing teams Licensure/Certifications: Required None Preferred Training and certification in the transportation of dangerous goods  Travel Required:  0% Domestic and International Citizenship:   US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license) Clearance:   None  Qualified Skills:   Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required Understand and demonstrate the safe use of material handling equipment Able to lead and motivate people Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Demonstrate good organizational and multi-tasking skills Preferred   None Communication Skills:  Required: Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English  Preferred: None vPhysical Requirements:   Onsite or remote:  100% Onsite Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.   Daily Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.   Daily Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.   Daily Equipment Operation:  Able to operate personal computer, telephone, fax machine and related equipment. Able to operate warehouse material handling equipment including forklift and cherry picker.  Daily Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs.  Daily Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs.  Daily Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull carts and small items up to 50lbs/23kgs.  Daily    Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.   Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.  Daily Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice.
