Build the Teams Delivering the World’s Most Complex Infrastructure Projects AECOM is seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition leader to shape the future of our Construction Management business. This is not a traditional recruiting leadership role—it is an opportunity to influence the talent strategy behind some of the largest and most complex infrastructure programs in the world. We are looking for a recognized recruiting leader with deep Construction Management and Infrastructure expertise, an established network of industry professionals, and the credibility to serve as a trusted advisor to senior business executives. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on recruiting, building high-performing teams while personally attracting many of the industry's most sought-after leaders and technical professionals. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be located anywhere in the US where AECOM operates.. This role can be based in any US location where AECOM operates.The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as need. Travel is typically scheduled in advance. Roles & Responsibilities: Leadership & Talent Advisory Lead, coach and develop a team of recruiters supporting Construction Management hiring across the United States. Create a culture of proactive recruiting, strategic sourcing, exceptional customer service and continuous improvement. Champion the Talent Advisor model by coaching recruiters to become trusted consultants to business leaders. Partner with Construction Management leadership, HR and TA leadership on workforce planning, succession planning and long-term hiring strategies. Represent Talent Acquisition during business reviews, workforce planning sessions and strategic growth initiatives. Strategic Recruiting & Industry Engagement Personally recruit executive, senior leadership and business-critical Construction Management positions. Leverage an extensive network of Construction Management professionals to identify and recruit exceptional passive talent. Develop relationships with project executives, construction managers, owners' representatives, program directors, project controls leaders and other industry professionals. Build proactive talent pipelines before project awards and anticipated business growth. Conduct competitive intelligence, organizational mapping and market research to identify top talent across the industry. Represent AECOM at industry associations, conferences and networking events to strengthen our employment brand. Business Partnership & Workforce Strategy Serve as the trusted Talent Advisor to senior Construction Management executives. Translate project pipelines, contract awards and business growth plans into proactive recruiting strategies. Provide executive-level insights regarding compensation trends, competitor activity, candidate sentiment and labor market conditions. Lead consultative intake meetings that establish success profiles, sourcing strategies and realistic hiring expectations. Influence hiring decisions through data, market expertise and strategic consultation. Operational Excellence & Innovation Champion AI-enabled recruiting technologies, automation and labor market intelligence tools. Utilize recruiting analytics to improve hiring outcomes, pipeline health and recruiter effectiveness. Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Ensure compliance, data integrity and continuous process improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting within Construction Management, Infrastructure, Engineering, EPC or related industries or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. 2+ years of recruiting leadership experience. Demonstrated success recruiting executive and highly specialized Construction Management talent. Established professional network and long-standing relationships throughout the Construction Management industry. Demonstrated success recruiting passive candidates through relationships, networking and market expertise rather than relying primarily on applicant flow. Experience partnering with senior executives on workforce planning and talent strategy. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a leading Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), EPC or Infrastructure organization. Expertise with AI-enabled recruiting technologies, labor market intelligence and advanced sourcing platforms. Experience conducting executive search, competitive intelligence and organizational mapping. Success operating in a complex, matrixed national or global organization.
