Visa will accept applications for this role until at least 10-08-2026 Job Description Senior Director (SD), Flex and Installments Growth Initiatives (Global) The Senior Director, Growth Initiatives will deliver Flex and Installments product acceleration plans and outcomes, aligned with regional growth vectors. Flex and Installments are key for modernizing credential capability, enabling new income streams, new entrants for faster distribution and accomplishing top-of-wallet status for issuers. This leader and their squads will help drive global change & support market initiatives; delivering consistently to unlock new payment volume aligned to strategic growth imperatives. This leader and their squads will work closely with various teams across Product, Solutions, GTM, Finance, Regions, Rules, Risk and more to define and deliver accelerated reach, product roadmap and manage key initiatives. This role is global and will need to balance regional and global opportunities to achieve overall growth and goal objectives. Accomplishing this will require a nuanced ability to influence and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization and provide leadership and clear vision to direct and indirect teams. Key Requirements Leverage Agentic Toolchain as the primary platform for product delivery , driving all phases of the product lifecycle including opportunity identification, requirements definition, planning, architecture, development, testing, and release management. Maintain comprehensive product documentation and knowledge assets within the Visa Product Knowledge ecosystem to promote transparency, reusability, institutional learning, and AI-enabled insights. Adhere to required telemetry, squad governance, and reporting standards to provide clear visibility into delivery progress, product health, and business outcomes. Drive outcome-based product execution , measuring success through customer value, adoption, business impact, and delivery effectiveness rather than traditional activity-based metrics. Create and maintain AI-assisted product requirements and solution artifacts using agentic workflows such as Working Backwards, Ship a Feature, and Product Requirements generation tools. Operate within a continuous delivery model , embracing agile evolution beyond traditional sprint planning, backlog grooming, and time-boxed execution frameworks. Utilize telemetry and flow-based metrics to manage delivery performance , continuously improving throughput, quality, and product outcomes. Adopt agentic and AI-powered development practices , leveraging automated workflows, intelligent tooling, quality gates, testing frameworks, and release processes to accelerate delivery and improve consistency. Strong track record in scenario planning, strategic evaluation, and investment decisioning , including assessment of new initiatives, partnerships, and opportunities. Experience developing, rolling out, and monitoring product acceleration plans , including ownership of budgets, investment trade-offs, and performance metrics. Expertise in roadmap prioritization and capacity planning across multiple products, regions, or workstreams. Familiarity with product lifecycle management , commercialization frameworks, and governance models and simplifying tooling with stakeholders and clients. Ability to balance long-term strategic bets with near-term execution and delivery rigor. Strong capability in establishing and governing strategic KPIs, scorecards, and OKRs , ensuring accountability and data-driven decision-making at all levels. Comfort operating with incomplete data while driving clarity and alignment through structured metrics. Proven ability to forge and manage strategic alliances with fintechs, technology providers, regulators, and broader ecosystem partners. Ability to act as an executive SME support for priority clients and partners , ensuring customer needs directly influence product strategy and deal outcomes. Strong understanding of Network Processing, Payment, EMV and Token standards and rules. Demonstrated leadership for new product launches and market expansion. Ability to anticipate, interpret, and shape responses to regulatory change in payments, fintech, or similarly regulated industries. Familiarity with audit, compliance, and waiver tracking in complex global organizations. Strong operational discipline combined with strategic flexibility. Extensive experience preparing and delivering executive-level reporting (QBRs, councils, SteerCos), synthesizing performance, risks, and decision points.
