Competitive pay: $45–$50/hr Opportunities across our facility network Employee appreciation events and incentives Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services on a PRN basis. This role focuses on helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function . Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy services per physician orders and care goals Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations Supervise SLPAs, CFYs, and students as appropriate Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members Participate in care conferences, utilization review, and discharge planning Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy and maintenance programs Conduct staff training and in-service education Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active South Carolina SLP license (in good standing) Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred Ability to supervise CFYs or students preferred Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer.
