Software Developer - Data Normalization & Adaptation (DNA) Team

Overview Susquehanna is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Data Normalization & Adaptation (DNA) Team, which is responsible for processing billions of transactions per day in a real-time high-performance enterprise technology environment. You’ll also work alongside most front- and back-office teams to build business-critical systems that decipher, normalize, and distribute trading data to the firm. You’ll develop real-time trade reconciliation systems that monitor trading activity and escalate issues to the business through state-of-the-art monitoring capabilities. The team is developing several new components to bring new business activity into the back office. In this job, you will: Participate in the design, development, and implementation of large, complex, high-performance applications that process large amounts of data with low latency Build mission-critical processes that must meet stringent high-availability and fault-tolerant requirements Participate in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance with heavy emphasis on domain modeling, object-oriented analysis and design, and data modeling Provide technical direction and support for team applications and tools What we’re looking for Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or closely related STEM discipline Design and development experience using object-oriented programming in .Net technologies Experience with one or more message-oriented middleware solutions (RV, MSMQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.) Good understanding of relational, as well as document, databases and experience with fundamental SQL using one or more of the database communication mechanisms: ADO, ODBC, and ODP.NET Ability to translate and communicate effectively between technologists and non-technical stakeholders Experience with all aspects of the SDLC, UML fundamentals, agile methodology, automated build, test-driven development, and source code control Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor ** Visa Sponsorship is available for this position.
