Site Logistics Supervisor

Overview Cummings Electrical is looking for a Site Logistics Supervisor  Site Logistics Supervisors are responsible for directing and supervising activities related to the coordination of component and product receipt and delivery to installation from inception to completion. Members of our logistics management team provide leadership and development in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to ensure continued profitability and growth. Responsibilities Utilize KOJO to manage material requests, track deliveries, coordinate vendor orders, and maintain real-time visibility of jobsite inventory to ensure crews have what they need when they need it Maintain accurate records for all equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper documentation for inspections, maintenance, and calibration needs Support and enhance operational systems by ensuring that equipment and materials are readily available and efficiently dispatched when needed Diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload  Ensure the accuracy and tracking of equipment movements and inventory using manual and system-based tracking methods Ensure safety compliance by enforcing company policies and industry regulations regarding equipment handling and machinery operation Optimize space utilization for the storage and movement of large equipment, maximizing facility efficiency Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Required to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds  Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with co-workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes Able to work in extreme conditions and a drug free environment  Ability to work long hours and variable schedules on occasion, including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends, and occasionally work overtime as needed Ability to exercise independent judgment within the limits of the position Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others: and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from supervisor Required to perform other common operation duties suck as: sitting for long periods of time, hear, talk, use close vision, use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch, use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, type and manipulate controls, and reaching, lifting or bending  Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, material management, or warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing setting Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment  High school diploma or equivalent  Problem-solving skills and close attention to detail  Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Demonstrate ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations  Must be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output  Ability to work with little or no supervision Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills  Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching  Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed Must have clean and valid driver's license  Our environment allows you to take pride in your work, create meaningful connections, and acquire growth-based development skills.
