ABOUT THE ROLE: The Showroom Attendant supports Skechers' on-site corporate meetings, events, showroom operations, and company vending program. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining meeting and event spaces, facilitating the receipt and setup of catered food and beverages, overseeing vending operations, providing basic AV support, and ensuring all service areas are clean, organized, and professionally presented. This position operates independently and requires flexibility, including variable hours and the ability to provide coverage for other roles as needed. This role is also responsible for creating a friendly, positive work environment and a first-class guest experience for all staff and visitors. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Provide on-site support for corporate meetings, events, and showroom activities, including room setup, refreshments, catering delivery coordination, basic AV needs, and supplies Respond to room changes and other issues that arise during meetings and events; communicate status updates and escalate issues to the Showroom Manager as needed Provide hands-on support for the pick-up, receipt, transport, setup, replenishment, and teardown of catered food, beverages, coffee, and related service items delivered by outside vendors Manage coffee services across multiple Skechers buildings and collaborate with housekeeping staff on coffee machine upkeep Maintain clean and professionally presented service areas, including clearing and cleaning tables, floors, and surrounding spaces Participate in pre-event meetings to ensure a thorough understanding of event timelines, logistics, and any special requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand staff and guest requirements, event details, and specific dietary needs Oversee day-to-day operation of vending machines and ensure machines are clean, properly stocked, and operational Monitor vending inventory and determine replenishment needs based on product availability, sales activity, and established stocking levels Place orders for vending products and supplies Reserve showrooms and prepare event orders as needed Provide coverage for building receptionists as needed Comply with uniform requirements, food safety standards, and Skechers' standards for freshness and professional presentation Attend all scheduled employee and department meetings Other duties as assigned by management undefined WHAT YOU'LL BRING : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This position requires the employee to constantly position themselves to perform essential functions, including: Refilling refrigerators with water bottles, food, and perishables Stocking, cleaning, and performing inventory of vending machines and food and beverage supplies Stacking and organizing food, drinks, and related inventory Wiping counters and tables and maintaining clean service areas Preparing food displays and buffets Cleaning coffee machines and maintaining coffee service areas Pushing carts and unloading catered food, coffee containers, drinks, tables, buffet items, and related materials Climbing step stools or ladders to reach high shelves when stocking vending machines or storage areas Balancing when carrying trays, carts, or large catering items Crouching and squatting when accessing lower shelves or cabinets during stocking and inventory The employee must consistently move about inside and between multiple buildings to support meetings, events, and catering operations. The person in this position frequently communicates with staff and guests and must be able to accurately exchange information in all situations. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The pay range for this role is $28.00-$30.00/hr USD.
