About the Role Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a  Senior UX Researcher to join our rapidly growing Product org. You will be diving deep into the daily lives of our customers and applying that understanding to everyday product design decisions. This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA or Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. What You’ll Do Plan, manage, and execute on user research programs across focused product areas Collaborate with design, product, and analytics to build research projects that align with stakeholder needs as well as user needs. Guide product and design on the research methodology, question framing, and other best practices for self-run studies.   Identify emerging customer and user needs to support the development of new products. Synthesize learnings from past research and analytics data to tell compelling stories and lead ideation sessions. Skills We’re Looking For Experience conducting mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research. A strong portfolio that demonstrates your work, research philosophy, and impact. An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with a bias toward action and the ability to lead projects through ambiguity. The ability to craft engaging presentations and compelling stories that influence stakeholders. A strong desire to understand our users and how our product contributes to their success. Experience using AI to plan studies, synthesize feedback, and work more efficiently.
