This role defines product strategy, roadmap priorities, business meaning, semantic relationships, data quality expectations, and consumption patterns that support AI, analytics, automation, and product teams. The role applies deep property and casualty insurance domain knowledge, technical product management discipline, and data product expertise to translate complex insurance concepts into scalable product capabilities. This role exercises independent judgment to prioritize outcomes, align stakeholders, and guide delivery while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, AI, UX, Customer Success, Professional Services, and insurance subject-matter experts.  Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for semantic insurance data capabilities, including canonical insurance concepts, data relationships, metadata, business definitions, and AI-ready consumption patterns. Own a major semantic data product pillar that enables AI, analytics, automation, and product teams to understand and use insurance data consistently across Duck Creek products and customer implementations. Translate complex insurance business concepts into clear, prioritized product capabilities that can be delivered by engineering teams and consumed by technical and non-technical users. Partner with Engineering and Architecture to define scalable approaches for semantic models, data contracts, metadata, APIs, knowledge graphs, data products, feature-ready datasets, and AI grounding layers. Work with AI and data science teams to identify data structures, lineage, context, quality standards, and retrieval patterns required to support LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows, analytics, and decision-support experiences. Collaborate with Product Managers across Policy, Billing, Claims, Distribution, Data, and Platform teams to align semantic data capabilities with broader product strategy, customer needs, and delivery priorities. Establish common definitions and relationships for high-value insurance concepts to reduce ambiguity across products, reporting, AI experiences, and customer integrations. Prioritize use cases where semantic insurance data can improve customer outcomes, including coverage interpretation, claims summarization, underwriting support, servicing automation, operational analytics, and cross-suite intelligence. Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business scenarios, and success metrics for semantic data capabilities. Partner with data governance, quality, security, privacy, and compliance stakeholders to ensure semantic data products are designed for responsible and appropriate AI consumption. Drive adoption, quality, and business impact of semantic data products, including reuse across AI use cases, reduction in duplicate mapping work, improvement in AI answer quality, and increased consistency of insurance definitions. Evaluate product performance, stakeholder feedback, implementation patterns, and data quality indicators to refine roadmap priorities and improve semantic data product outcomes. WHAT YOU’VE DONE:  REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business, Insurance, Analytics, or a related discipline. 6+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, data product management, enterprise software, SaaS, insurance technology, data platforms, or related roles. Experience owning complex product domains that require alignment across business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, data teams, and customer-facing organizations. Experience translating ambiguous business, regulatory, and technical problems into product strategy, roadmap priorities, requirements, and measurable outcomes. Experience working with data product
