What You Will Do: Executes technical investigations and supports complex materials and manufacturing challenges for wheels & brakes structures. Leads metallurgical failure analysis involving cracking, fatigue, wear, and corrosion. Develops or refines metallic material specifications and heat‑treat process instructions. Supports supplier process evaluations, audits, and capability assessments. Supports development of improvements to materials, coatings, and corrosion prevention systems. Evaluates forging quality, grain flow, defects, and machining‑related anomalies.
