We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Field Support Supervisor to lead field service execution and deliver exceptional customer results. For the SPTS Toolset position, candidates should possess a strong technical foundation in electronics, RF systems, mechanical engineering, vacuum technology, and plasma processing equipment. What You'll Do Perform coordination of troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including plasma etch, dry etch, PVD, and CVD systems, ensuring maximum tool performance and uptime. Knowledge of and experience required with:   Chamber, Plasma Etch, Dry Etch, RF Systems, Vacuum Systems, Semiconductor Equipment, Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Bosch Process, Surface Inspection, PVD, CVD. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing KLA professionally and identifying opportunities to support the broader product portfolio. Provide timely technical feedback to drive continuous product improvements and enhance business processes. Assure training and certification of a team of engineers Develop and drive a positive, collaborative work environment and a positive leader who can develop the team Learn/ Model KLA business processes and drive customer Coordinate rapid response to critical issues and drive customer escalations to ensure a customer focused approach. Drive operational excellence through strong systems, documentation, and execution discipline Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships Manage cost through effective resource deployment and install case oversight Present business updates and performance insights to senior leadership Represent Customer Operations in Product Life Cycle teams Partner cross-functionally with engineering, customers, and leadership Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing field support team What You Bring 3–5 years in a lead or supervisory role 3–5 years supporting semiconductor capital equipment Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, particularly etch and plasma processing systems, is highly preferred. Strong communication skills across RF, pneumatic, vacuum, and electronic systems (AC and DC), with the ability to apply structured fault isolation models Working knowledge of plasma etch processes, including Bosch processing, etch rate optimization, ash rate performance, and SurfScan defect analysis. Experience supporting customers through system commissioning, corrective maintenance, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
