The Collins Aerospace Avionics Test Engineering organization is looking for a motivated individual to be an Electrical Engineer to assist in developing and supporting complex test solutions in an Operations environment. The Avionics Test Engineering organization is a global engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit as well as external customers including armed services and airlines both domestic and international.  Typical test solutions include custom test platforms, as well as COTS components such as switch systems, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies and other related equipment coupled with custom software for performing Environmental Stress Screening as well as testing circuit card assemblies and top-level products.  This person will have the ability to work independently, while analyzing equipment and conducting experimental tests to establish operating data. This candidate will perform engineering work and applied research, coordinate activities involving the design and development of electronic equipment and devices and prepare engineering sketches and product information documentation. This is a multi-faceted role requiring versatility across a variety of tasks in a highly collaborative environment.
