And our work depends on a Senior Community Resource Coordinator joining our team to support customer activities.  The Senior Community Resource Coordinator serves as a headquarters‑level advisor, providing strategic oversight, coordination, and continuous improvement of community‑ and peer‑support programs across multiple units. This position enhances the well‑being, readiness, and resilience of personnel and families by evaluating support programs, identifying needs, informing policy development, and synchronizing services across components. The Senior CRC works closely with leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies to ensure alignment, resource optimization, and effective execution of community support initiatives. HOW A SENIOR COMMUNITY RESOURCE COORDINATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Serves as a liaison for USSOCOM and advisor for Component CRCs. Shall apply a collaborative team approach to assess, plan, implement, coordinate and monitor community and peer mentoring programs designed to increase quality of life for service members and families, reduce stigma for help-seeking behaviors, and reduce suicides within the USSOCOM community. Advise and consult on the development of broad and comprehensive policy and procedural reviews of regionwide and component- wide community and peer mentoring programs to evaluate efficacy of programs and provide recommendations for improvement. Works with Echelon III commands to assess needs, evaluate efficacy, and implement programs. Serves as an advisory role for planning, executing and continuously improving peer mentorship programs and collaborates with Operations Officers, Command Leadership, and family support coordinators among others to understand Component needs and resource availability/constraints to facilitate program execution. Coordinates with Service representatives, multidisciplinary professional staff and other service providers within the Services, DoW, and civilian sector to align programs with other existing programs, evaluate utilization, and obtain input for areas of improvement. Assists in the training of Peer mentors, which may include travel to other Component locations to meet with new volunteers and staff and the commands they support, and provide consultation and training to CRCCs throughout the Component Commands. Serves as communication link between multiple components levels of CRCCs and HQ USSOCOM. Works with regional components and command CRCCs to aggregate, prepare, and submit formal reports using input from all CRCCs and command leadership to provide force wide and regional programmatic feedback. Routinely coordinates with a variety of Service, DoW, and civilian programs, including family and social service agencies, chaplains, benevolent/charitable organizations, and others. Provides force wide and region wide training and consultation. Will be on staff of General Officer (GO)/Flag Officer (FO) level command and typically will work with the Component POTFF Directors. As a subject matter expert for this labor category, the primary role is for the purpose of mitigation, treatment, management, and preservation of the cognitive, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being of Service Members and their families, which includes the documentation of those services offered in the HP Enterprise-wide platforms (i.e., HPDMS, etc.) as directed by the USSOCOM Directive 10-12. Adjustments to the productivity level for this labor category may vary due to client population, local mission set, or additional administrative taskings. Additional duties as assigned through local leadership must be documented and approved through local POTFF leadership. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s, degree in education, human/social services or related field or four (4) years’ experience in providing social service education or work/family life consultation or coordination services. Minimum of four (4) years’ experience coordinating social service education programs. Have, or be willing to receive, specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention, and will keep abreast of DoW, Services, and community sponsored resources intended to promote the Minimum of four (4) years’ experience coordinating social service education programs. CLEARANCE: Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance. LOCATION: Various OCONUS & CONUS SITES This is a contingent posting, expected to start in 2027. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
