Join our mission-driven legal team as a Senior Attorney, where you'll serve as a strategic legal partner across our organization and the Federal Reserve System. This role offers the opportunity to provide sophisticated counsel on complex corporate matters while working collaboratively with business leaders in a dynamic, innovative environment. Together with the Bank’s Legal & Ethics and Corporate Secretary team, the Senior Attorney will deliver expert legal guidance on general corporate matters and areas unique to Reserve Bank operations, including banking supervision, ethics, fiscal agency services, public information and record requests, and law enforcement. The ideal candidate brings a versatile skill set, exceptional judgment, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions. Key Responsibilities   Provide responsive counsel on day-to-day   diverse   legal issues   across   the organization   Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and strategic initiatives   Provide c ounsel on banking supervision matters, regulatory applications   (M&A) , and   emerging financial services   legal issues Monitor and advise on evolving regulatory requirements and their impact on business operations   Support administration of the Bank’s public records disclosure policy Advise on employment policies, compliance matters, and risk mitigation strategies Lead drafting, negotiation, and review of diverse commercial agreements, including service contracts, RFPs, memoranda of understanding, NDAs, licenses, and vendor agreements   Partner with procurement teams to ensure compliant and efficient contracting processes   Develop and   maintain   contract templates and playbooks Provide counsel and training on employee ethics and compliance policies Advise and train law enforcement leadership and officers on relevant legal issues Design and deliver training programs on relevant legal topics for internal stakeholders   Qualifications   Required:   Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school   Active bar membership in Missouri or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment   Minimum 6-10 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, governmental   agency   and/or in-house legal department   Preferred:   Experience   in   banking, financial services, or government/quasi-government entities    Proven   track record   drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements   Strong understanding of employment law,   compliance   and risk management   Knowledge of the Federal Reserve System, banking operations, or financial regulation   Experience with UCC Article 9, secured lending, or collateral matters   Background in government procurement or public-sector contracting   Skills & Competencies:   Exceptional legal analysis, judgment, and problem-solving abilities   Outstanding written and oral communication skills   Ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for non-legal audiences   Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels   Proactive, service-oriented approach with a focus on enabling business objectives   Excellent project management and organizational skills   Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment   Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical practice   Total Rewards     Bring your passion and   expertise , and   we'll   provide   the opportunities that will challenge you and propel your career growth—along with a wide range of benefits and   perks   that support your health, wealth, and life.   Salary: $   141,500-$183,900   In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package all brought together in a flexible work environment where you can find balance:   Medical (4 options), Prescription, Dental (3 options), and Vision Insurance with no waiting period   401k/Thrift Plan with generous employer match   Employer-funded Pension Plan   Paid Vacation/Sick Time and Holidays   Flexible Spending Accounts and Healthcare Spending Accounts   Life Insurance and   Long Term   Disability Insurance   Tuition Reimbursement (undergraduate and graduate)   Parental Leave   Free onsite 24/7 Fitness Center   Onsite Cafeteria and Coffee Shop (St. Louis location)   Additional Convenience Benefits, Discounts and More…   At the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, we are committed to a strong and resilient economy for all.
