Senior Associate, Incubation - Corporate Development

Your job We are looking for a Senior Associate to join Indeed's Corporate Development team— with a focus on identifying, building, and testing new products / business models to expand Indeed's position in the HR Tech space. This team works closely with cross-functional and senior leadership to develop and execute such long-term strategic initiatives. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will run structured market and competitive intelligence, evaluate incubation opportunities, and take the most promising ideas from early hypothesis through to product build, launch, and scale decisions — working directly with engineers, researchers, and go-to-market stakeholders. You start with a clear point of view and test it against evidence. You size markets, build data-based models, run experiments, and reach clear recommendations without perfect information. You understand how incubation works inside a technology company. You update your views and approaches as the data changes. Who you are Examine quantitative and qualitative trends, comparative dynamics, and key players in HR Tech and adjacent sectors Build and test new products from scratch — driving 0-to-1 development, rapid prototyping, and structured build-or-kill evaluations from early hypothesis through to launch. Apply a structured framework to evaluate incubation business cases and investment proposals, producing scorecards that surface key risks and opportunities. Prepare memos and presentations for cross-functional and senior leadership, translating evidence into decision-ready insights Work effectively alongside engineers and researchers, bridging technical and business perspectives throughout the product lifecycle. Who we are Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience Relevant work experience in the field of Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Venture Capital/Private Equity Fund, Investment Banking, and/or Product Management in Technology sector Exceptional business analytics skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Proven inquisitiveness to learn & understand something new Our mission As the world’s number 1 job site*, our mission is to help people get jobs. The salary range for this role reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the role. Offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
