Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and technology-savvy Dispatch / Communications Officer to monitor and coordinate response across our client portfolio from a premier corporate command center. This role calls for sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe. This post supports one of our most distinguished corporate accounts, where the standard for professionalism, presentation, and precision is exceptionally high – true concierge-level security. What We're Looking For We hire for our core values – and we mean it: Service – You understand that exceptional service builds trust and reputation Integrity – You are accountable, honest, and self-aware Innovation – You look for better ways to get the job done Drive – You bring 100% effort and push through obstacles Commitment – You dedicate yourself to the mission Polished, professional presentation – well-groomed and business-appropriate at all times Clear, fluent, professional communication skills, both written and verbal Composed and confident interacting with senior executives and high-profile visitors Key Responsibilities •    Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems from the Security Operations Center / dispatch desk •    Dispatch officers and coordinate response to alarms, incidents, or emergencies across client sites •    Respond to calls of distress or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams •    Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and shift logs •    Operate dispatch/monitoring platforms, incident reporting software, and email •    Manage multiple simultaneous alerts and radio/telephone communications in a high-pressure environment •    Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor Qualifications Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following: Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience Requirements Valid FL Security D License Valid FL Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Above-average written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public Willingness and ability to work across multiple client sites and shifts based on operational need Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred Compensation & Benefits $21.50 per hour Paid time off Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Pension / retirement benefits Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion If you want a team that invests in you, show us you're ready to invest in it.
