Seasonal Events and Education Associate - Wine Experience

The Events & Education Associate supports the planning and execution of programming, with a strong focus on wine education and guest experience. Supports and facilitates wine classes, tastings, demonstrations, and private events Demonstrates strong knowledge of wine, with an emphasis on Italian wines and regional varieties Assists with planning event programming, menus, wine selections, and class materials Provides engaging and informative experiences for guests while adapting to different levels of wine knowledge Supports event setup, service, breakdown, and overall organization of La Scuola spaces Works closely with the Events & Education team, culinary and front-of-house teams, and clients to ensure successful events Ensures proper handling, storage, and presentation of wine and event supplies Performs other duties as required or assigned 2+ years of wine, hospitality, or events experience Strong knowledge of wine; Italian wine knowledge preferred Excellent communication and public speaking skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Wine certification (WSET, CMS, or equivalent) preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Ability to use knives, hand tools and standard commercial kitchen equipment Food Handler’s License Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
