Job Summary   Company    NextGen Security, LLC    Location    Corporate (Exton, PA)   Industries    Security and Surveillance    Job Type    Full Time    Employee    Career Level    Entry Level to Experienced (Non-Manager)   Exemption Status   Exempt   Safety Coordinator   About the Job   What we’re looking for:   An energetic and motivated Safety Coordinator to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.   What you’ll be doing:   The responsibilities of this position will vary, but primarily focus on developing site safety plans, training and onboarding new employees as it relates to safety, fleet management, safety meetings and inspections.  As such, the candidate will be required to interact frequently with employees internally from different departments, as well as externally with vendors and subcontractors. The standard work hours for this employee are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday.  Some overnight travel may be required to customer and office sites.    Specific duties to include:   New hire onboarding / ride alongs   Ordering safety equipment   Weekly safety topic and tracking   Major job kick-off safety meetings   Developing site safety plans   Organize and train employees on relevant certifications such as first aid, fall protection, and bucket truck   Inspections of equipment and office, complying with OSHA standards   Fleet management, including: GPS, vehicle inspections and maintenance, coordination with vendors   Subcontractor coordination   Pre-qualification oversight   COI assistance and issue resolution   Onsite response to incidents or near misses   Applicant Qualifications:    Associate’s degree in related curriculum or field-equivalent work experience   1-2 years of experience or college internship (preferred)   Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook   Experience with pre-qualification platforms (preferred)   What you bring to the table:   Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to vendors and to those within the company, while maintaining a positive and productive attitude    Demonstrate strong time management skills    Commitment to integrity and Company Standards and Procedures   Attention to detail and accuracy    Willingness to learn multiple new skillsets     What we bring to the table:   An awesome, collaborative culture   Compensation based upon background and experience   Full benefits package   Vacation   Cellphone Allowance   We are an equal opportunity employer and drug- free workplace.
