SAFe Product Owner

Description Leading and managing cross functional project teams to ensure timely completion of projects within scope Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders Developing and maintaining project plans and schedules Identifying and resolving project issues and risks, escalating when necessary Conducting project reviews and ensure compliance with quality standards Defining product features, prioritizing the product backlog, and working closely with the development team Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure product vision and goals are understood and implemented FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance 3-5 years of experience working as a product owner, project manager, or technical project support specialist Bachelor's degree in a technical field. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree 3 or more years working in an Agile environment Experience supporting Navy SIGINT, cryptologic, or Electronic Warfare systems DoD 8140 baseline certification (Security+ or equivalent) or be able to obtain within 6 months Strong  written and verbal communication skills, including briefing government customers and senior leadership Desired Skills SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification  Experience with shipboard system installations, fielding, or fleet support Working knowledge of RMF, CMMC, and DoD cybersecurity requirements Prior military experience in the Navy cryptologic community Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL Travel Requirements 10-15% About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
