Robotic Welder

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Robotic Welder on our 3rd Shift.  You'll operate welding robots to produce high-quality components for premium strength and fitness equipment used around the world.  Why You'll Love This Role   Earn an additional $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift hours worked  Four-day workweek: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM-6:00 AM  Overtime opportunities available  Free access to our on-site fitness center  Eligibility for our Production Bonus Plan  Total Rewards & Pay-  Full-time team members are eligible for:   Base pay: $21.50-$25.38 per hour , based on qualifications and experience  3rd shift differential: $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift   Production Bonus Plan eligibility based on performance metrics   401(k) savings plan with 4% employer match  Medical, dental, vision, HSA, and reimbursement accounts  Paid time off, including paid holidays  Life, AD&D, and disability coverage  Employee discounts, EAP with free counseling sessions, identity protection, and legal services  On-site fitness center access included  What You'll Do   Operate and monitor welding robots throughout production  Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures and parts  Perform visual quality inspections of parts and completed welds  Remove weld spatter using a chisel or grinder as needed  Tag completed rework jobs appropriately  Complete daily equipment inspections  Report material shortages or quality concerns to your Lead or Supervisor  Safely operate a hoist to position parts  Perform other duties as assigned  What We're Looking For   Required Qualifications   Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude  Punctual and dependable  Commitment to working safely  Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English  Preferred Qualifications   High school diploma or equivalent  Experience in a manufacturing environment  Welding and/or robotics experience  Physical Requirements & Work Environment   Frequently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs  Push and pull up to 35 lbs  Walk, stand, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead throughout the shift  Safely operate a hoist  Exposure to repetitive motion, dust, vibration, hazardous chemicals, welding fumes, ozone, and infrared/ultraviolet light  Noisy environment; ear protection required  At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. Your base wage will be between $21.50 - $25.38 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
