Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $20,000 + RELOCATION BONUS! 0-1 years of experience: $10,000 1-3 years of experience: $15,000 3+ years of experience: $20,000 This role is for our Procedural Short Stay unit at our Downtown Des Moines Hospital. This 16-bed post-surgical unit cares for PACU patients and those recovering from procedures. With most patients staying less than 48 hours, the unit offers a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover and exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and clinical experiences. The team is welcoming to new graduate nurses and provides a great opportunity to build strong acute care skills in a dynamic setting. POSITION PURPOSE The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.
