Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity. Pay Range: $27.02 - $39.18 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 What You’ll Be Doing Responsible for supporting the effective administration of 403(b), 457(b), and 401(a) plans by serving as a knowledgeable resource for Member-Participants, districts, and internal teams. Provides guidance to Members/Participants via phones, email, etc., process requests efficiently, and resolve complex issues. Responds to Member/Participant telephone and written inquiries regarding any retirement products including but not limited to Individual Retirement Accounts, Deferred Compensation Plans, and 403(b), State Teachers Retirement System, Public Employees Retirement System, etc. Effectively communicates complex plan information to employers, Member-Participants, and other service providers. Maintains accurate records of employee contributions, eligibility, distributions, loans, and rollovers. Reviews and processes account exchanges, rollovers, distributions, loan requests, and salary deferral requests. Reconciles employer deductions, resolves any discrepancies, and remits to appropriate investment providers. Provides assistance during plan audits conducted by the IRS, Department of Labor, or other independent auditors. Upholds high standards of accountability, accuracy, and Member service. Additional Job Functions Performs other duties as assigned Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 3-5 years of prior related experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex data, contribution, and compliance issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly complex plan rules clearly and accurately across various channels and audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and experienced with CRM or recordkeeping systems; comfortable navigating multiple systems. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on complex issues. Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy, diplomacy, and tact in sensitive or high-stakes interactions. Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision. Service-oriented mindset, committed to delivering exceptional support to Members, Districts, vendors, and internal teams. Understanding of retirement benefits administration, with specific expertise in 403(b), 457(b), and 401(a) plans. Familiarity with Third Party Administrator responsibilities, roles, and service agreements. Working knowledge of IRS and tax-exempt governmental plan regulations and their application to plan administration.
