JOB OVERVIEW Provide expert-level support for and supervision of the design, development, and delivery of web or stand-alone applications relating to the implementation of geospatial technology for natural resource management. Products include web sites, web map viewers, non‐spatial web applications, and complex spatially enabled interactive websites. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Proven experience as application developer Experience designing and building applications. In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools Ability to manage projects through the full development lifecycle. Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON, and Java or .Net development Experience with front‐end Javascript libraries Development experience building RESTful web services and APIs Experience with PostgreSQL / PostGIS, or other relevant SQL Knowledge of geospatial data formats, geographic coordinate systems, GDAL, and Esri APIs for webmap development Desired Qualifications for Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, And Hunting Sector Time and Materials 874-1 Consultant Candidates - Assist program and project management in a functional area with educational and practical experience.
